The DiCicco family built our first restaurant back in 1956, and we're carrying on our family's legacy here in Clovis -- since 1977! Our name's pretty well known for serving our own inventive Italian dishes in a family-friendly atmosphere -- we've been doing it since 1956, after all! That's the year Mama and Papa DiCicco and their four sons opened up the first ever DiCicco's. Sandy DiCicco's carrying on the family's legacy here in Clovis these days. In our newly remodeled space, we're serving classic dishes along side our more innovative meals, like our Italian nachos. Cole, the Wheat King of the United States during the 1880-1890's; photos and articles of Marcus Pollasky, a key developer of the Clovis Township; original portion of the 1893 Fresno Flume and Irrigation, which brought lumber and water from Shaver Lake; Indian artifacts; early day pictures and information of over 400 Clovis area families; 1903-1965 graduation pictures of Clovis High School students and school annuals for those years; history of the 1912 First State Bank and their 1924 bank robbery; Clovis Veterans display of WW I, WW II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Desert Wars; memorabilia of Ken "Festus" Curtis of "Gunsmoke", and much, much, more. The Historical Society recreates the infamous 1924 bank robbery by "The Lone Wolf" and "The Owl" on the last Saturday of February each year.

The 24th Annual Zinkin Classic returns on December 18–19, 2026, at Buchanan High School in Clovis, California. Hosted by Buchanan Wrestling, this premier two-day wrestling tournament draws top athletes from across the state and Central Valley for elite competition. Named in honor of the Zinkin family—pioneers in wrestling and fitness—the event celebrates a legacy of athletic excellence and community spirit. Watch live on Buchanan’s Rokfin Channel and witness high-level matches that set the tone for the season ahead.

The 12th Annual Lady Apache Invitational is a premier girls wrestling tournament hosted by Sanger Wrestling at Sanger High School. Taking place January 16–17, 2027, this two-day event brings together top junior varsity and varsity wrestlers from across the region for a competitive showcase of skill and sportsmanship. Hosted by Sanger Wrestling, the tournament features multiple weight classes, elite coaching, and a supportive environment designed to highlight rising talent and foster growth in the sport.
