A winner of the 1993 American Pianists Association, she has performed throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia, appearing with the Israel Philharmonic, NDR Radiophilharmonie (Germany), and the Utah, Indianapolis, Rockford, and Kalamazoo symphony orchestras.An acclaimed recitalist and chamber musician, Sims made her New York recital debut at Alice Tully Hall to critical praise from The New York Times and has since appeared at Merkin Hall, Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, and the Gilmore International Piano Festival. Her recordings include three acclaimed albums on the Naxos label, as well as a celebrated recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations.
