Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center The Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center is the newest addition to the Salt Lake County Arts & Culture family of performing arts venues. Located in Taylorsville, the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center bring premiere performance and rehearsal spaces to the middle and southwest section of the valley. This thoughtfully designed venue includes a 400-seat proscenium theater, a 200-seat studio theater and a fully functional rehearsal space as well as professional theater staff and services. Mid-Valley provides the opportunity for performing organizations to showcase their art in this fast-growing area of Salt Lake County. In addition to the performing spaces, Mid-Valley will offer professional theater services including full service ticketing through ArtTix, event management, technical direction and support, and dedicated front-of-house services. Planned public art, both indoor and outdoor, will distinguish the new venue and help create a sense of place. Salt Lake County and Taylorsville City partnered on Mid-Valley. Taylorsville provided a financial contribution and the land through a long-term ground lease and Salt Lake County is constructing the new venue and its Arts & Culture division will operate and maintain Mid-Valley.
