We started with the notion that gin wasn’t being given the love it deserved. Real gin—a blast of juniper followed by the complex intrigue of all the other botanicals—was being challenged by pretenders. Gin shouldn’t taste like a citrus drink, and it shouldn’t taste like cleaning fluid. We give gin some well deserved attention. Small batches on a small still. Botanicals measured and macerated by hand, distilled, bottled and labeled in our Salt Lake City distillery. Utah, say hello to Jack Rabbit Gin. It’s been a long time coming.

More Than Dining. A Culinary Expression of the Land. Monte is an intimate, underground fine dining experience rooted in Utah’s natural landscape. Each menu is shaped by the season, guided by local foraging, organic sourcing, and a deep respect for the ingredients of the day. Rather than offering a fixed menu, Monte evolves continuously—allowing nature to lead and creativity to follow. The result is a chef-driven tasting journey that celebrates biodiversity, craftsmanship, and authenticity at every course.

Central Valley golf course is a 9-hole executive-style golf course with a par of 33. The golf course consists of four par 4′s, four par 3′s and one par 5. We also have 3 sets of tee markers for you to use at your enjoyment. It is designed for a fun round with the recreational golfer in mind. We are shorter than most courses, so the average golfer can make more birdies and pars than at other courses. The course has four par 3′s (ranging from 83 to 174 yards), four par 4′s (ranging from 231 to 364 yards), and one par 5. This course is designed for golfers who don’t have the time to invest in practicing. The average golfer usually slices, so we have designed the course so there’s no trouble on the right side of the holes (no out-of-bounds, no water hazards, no deep rough, etc.). Our golf course is connected to Golf in the Round Driving Range and Learning Center. We are located 2 blocks west of 1-15 on 3300 South, just a 10 minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City!! We have a practice putting and chipping green that is free of charge to use.

Central Valley Golf Course

Nibley Park, which opened in May 1922 after the Nibley family donated the land to Salt Lake City, is the oldest public golf course in Utah. Its central location has made it a popular destination for city dwellers and tourists, offering breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. Fairways and greens are guarded by mature trees, many of which were planted before the early pioneers arrived in Salt Lake City.
