The Veterans Memorial Park Ice Arena features a regulation-size rink of 85' x 200' with spectator seating for 3,000. Snack bar, coin-operated lockers, and storage units. Hockey and skating accessories available in the Pro Shop.

Veterans Memorial Park is a 37-acre park that is one of the busiest recreation areas in the city. The park is named in honor of veterans of the United States military, commemorated by a memorial​ located at the southwest corner of the park.

Veterans Memorial Park contains five baseball/softball fields, a poo​l and ice arena​, the Ann Arbor Skatepark, tennis courts with tennis ball recycling bins​, rain gardens, a hill used for sledding in the winter, paved paths with winter maintenance​ and benches and picnic tables to relax and unwind.

Pickleball striping exists on one of the tennis courts. Please note, that this pickleball court requires you to bring your own net.

Veterans Memorial Pool and Ice Arena operates a pool in the summer and an ice arena in the winter.

The Ann Arbor Skatepark**,** a 30,000-foot world-class skating facility, is free and open to the public from 6 a.m.-10 p.m.

Sun & Snow’s Midwest Swap Tour wraps up the season in Ann Arbor January 9-10, 2027. This free, public ski and snowboard swap brings together skiers and snowboarders from across Southeast Michigan to buy and sell skis, snowboards, boots, bindings and junior equipment.  
  
Experienced Sun & Snow ski and snowboard staff will be on site to help with sizing, fit and equipment selection. Sellers set their own price and keep 75% when an item sells.  
  
Selling gear? Qualifying equipment can be dropped off at either Sun & Snow location through 6 PM Thursday, January 7. This is the final swap of the season.  
  
Walk-ins are always welcome. Optional QuickPass opens at 9 AM Wednesday, January 6.
