We are an economic generator through sports tourism for Greater Grand Rapids and Kent County in the West Michigan area.

We own and operate an award winning baseball/softball complex; the Meijer Sports Complex [www.MeijerSportsComplex.com](https://www.MeijerSportsComplex.com) featuring eight fields, including a championship field that seats 1,000.

Our signature event, the Meijer State Games of Michigan (Olympic-style sporting event), draws 10,000 athletes through 60+ sports in its Winter and Summer Games.  We work with many of our local sports clubs and organizations to host various regional and national tournaments.

Meet Vanessa, the creative force behind Sweet Details GR and your dedicated instructor! Originally from a Caribbean island, Vanessa brings a unique blend of culture and passion to her baking. With over a decade of professional experience, she has honed her skills in crafting stunning cakes, delectable desserts, and delightful cookies. Her love for baking began at a young age, inspired by her mother’s ability to create joy through sweet treats and suppor the family during difficult times.  
Vanessa believes that baking is not just about following a recipe; it's about making memories and connecting with others. In her classes, she fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging participants of all skill levels to express their creativity and enjoy the process. With a wealth of knowledge and a collection of helpful tips and tricks, Vanessa is committed to ensuring you leave each class with newfound skills and confidence.

If you’re looking for a sweet activity to enjoy at home, our cookie kits are a fantastic option to take home and create your own edible masterpieces.  
Additionally, we offer baking classes designed for smaller groups of 4 to 6, perfect for hands-on learning and personalized instruction. Baking classes are available to book as private events.
