Each violin, viola, cello and bass is set up to the highest standards for maximum sound quality, playability and longevity. Our highly skilled luthiers and archetiers can also attend to any repair or restoration needed.

Our bespoke collection of bows includes rare and contemporary works of the world's greatest archetiers. We are also the premier dealer of JonPaul Bows and Archet Bows founded right next door by Jon Hatch and Paul Prier. These American-made professional-quality pernambuco and carbon composite bows are sought out by musicians worldwide. Our beginner and intermediate level bow inventory is also extensive.

Sicily, brought to your table. Our pasta, bread, and pastries are made by hand, every day. Giro was born and raised in Taormina, the town we're named for, and chooses every wine himself. Chef Leonardo brings the cooking of Catania and sources our ingredients with the same care. It's not a theme. It's where we're from. How 'Mina began It started in Taormina 'mina takes its name from Taormina, the hillside town on Sicily's coast where Giro Messeri grew up, where doors stay open, meals run long, and a stranger is just a friend you haven't met. Giro carried that with him to Utah, and years later it found a partner in Adam Rosh, an emergency physician who'd spent a career caring for people and wanted to keep doing it one table at a time. Over a shared love of food, they asked a simple question: how do you build a place where everyone who walks in feels genuine human connection? 'mina is their answer.

Tracy Aviary

My wine career started at a hot dog stand. I worked the grill during the humid summers in Western New York rolling dogs over charcoal. I greeted customers as they arrived, shouting, “Whatcha want? Whatcha got?”— and the banter between the ‘grill man’ and customers began. I traded the grill in for fine dining when I moved to Salt Lake City. I loved the fast-paced environment on the floors of Utah’s top-rated restaurants, and made the decision to continue my training. I found I was especially motivated by the power of wine to enhance the dining experience for both the guests and myself. This passion has been greatly enhanced by my decision to become a certified Sommelier, and then an Educator with an internationally recognized program. I am pleased to take the enthusiasm that has its roots ‘behind the grill’ to the floor of bustling restaurants. As a Sommelier, I seek out epic experiences with food and wine for guests, and as the Founder and Educator of the Wine Academy of Utah, I introduce the intricacies of wine to enthusiasts and professionals alike in a fun environment. My banter of “How many dogs?” has transformed into “How about little ‘splishy splash’ to get you started tonight?”

A spacious city park with walking/running paths, swimming pool, tennis courts, paddle boats, children’s amusement park, playground, picnic facilities, and plenty of room for recreation or relaxation. The park hosts many community events.

In the winter bring a sled or tube when there is snow on the ground for a fun time sledding.

Edison House is the brainchild of co-founder brothers George Cardon-Bystry and Charlie Cardon. George and Charlie are 8th generation Utahns who grew up in Salt Lake City but left for a decade to explore and experience some of the country’s most dynamic cities. Husband and wife team, Marco and Amy Stevanoni, have brought an authentic northern Italian dining experience to Salt Lake City. Born and raised in Verona, Italy, Marco is well known for both, love of his home country and his passionate commitment to classic Italian cuisine. Amy, raised in Salt Lake City, brings her career in marketing, love of art and design, and deep appreciation for Northern Italy. Together, they invite you to experience their style of Italian living and dining, with the cheapest round-trip ticket to Italy.

VENETO Ristorante Italiano is a small, intimate restaurant in a repurposed home originally built in 1892, located blocks from the center of downtown Salt Lake City. Once inside, you will feel as though you’ve been transported to a special spot you’d be lucky to stumble upon during an Italian holiday. If you prefer “cenare all’aperto” (outdoor dining), there are two outdoor dining areas. The back patio offers a beautiful and peaceful escape, while dining on the front porch will get you closer to the action of the historic Liberty Wells neighborhood.

You won’t find stereotypical Italian dishes on the menu, but you will be introduced to classic, authentic dishes; an à la carte menu that honors year-round favorites, and a seven-course tasting menu highlighting seasonal specialties from the Veneto region, with optional wine pairings. For beer and wine lovers, there are artisan Italian beers and an extensive wine list which Wine Spectator continuously recognizes as one of the best in the world for its breadth, depth, and superior presentation.
