We are an economic generator through sports tourism for Greater Grand Rapids and Kent County in the West Michigan area.

We own and operate an award winning baseball/softball complex; the Meijer Sports Complex [www.MeijerSportsComplex.com](https://www.MeijerSportsComplex.com) featuring eight fields, including a championship field that seats 1,000.

Our signature event, the Meijer State Games of Michigan (Olympic-style sporting event), draws 10,000 athletes through 60+ sports in its Winter and Summer Games.  We work with many of our local sports clubs and organizations to host various regional and national tournaments.

The Battleground 2K26 features a match-up between University of Michigan Wolverines and University of Houston Cougars on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Van Andel Arena at 1:00PM.  
  
Featuring two nationally recognized programs known for winning traditions, elite coaching, and passionate fan bases, this showdown promises to provide an exciting preview of what both teams hope will be championship-caliber seasons. Fans can expect a packed house and an electric atmosphere as they watch the nation's top student-athletes compete.  
  
The charitable component for The Battleground 2k26 will be rooted in service, inspiring the participating student-athletes to use their talent and influence to affect the lives of kids in the local community. The Battleground 2k26 basketball platform will greatly impact the Grand Rapids community and will also be a rewarding experience for the student-athletes and universities.  
  
Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 18 at 10:00AM. \*Please note the box office will not be open for the on sale.
