Pittsford Fine Art is a not for profit that brings together 23 Rochester-region artists under one roof at the four corners of historic Pittsford Village. If you appreciate original paintings and sculpture, you'll find some of the area's best-known talent showing their work in our artist-run gallery. A short drive southeast of downtown Rochester, Pittsford is home to Nazareth University, St. John Fisher University, and the renowned Oak Hill Country Club. The village offers charming eateries and shops near our gallery, all within a beautiful, walkable setting along the Erie Canal. Ample free parking makes it easy to explore. Take home a piece of original art, created and shown by local artists, to remember your visit. Gallery hours for your visit: Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m.; (with the exception of First Fridays that are each month and open until 8 p.m.); and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

With her studio here in Pittsford for seven years, Bonnie thought it was perfect opportunity to provide local makers an outlet to make their amazing creations available to the public in this quaint little shop. Everything is either handmade here in Rochester or is vintage from days gone by. Looking for that unique gift for someone? Cleo + Kin is a boutique lifestyle shop in the heart of Pittsford. The shop offers a wide selection of goods from women's clothing to home decor and baby gifts. Shop owner, Brenna, is also a maker of minimalist handcrafted jewelry and home fragrances. In addition to the goods she creates for the shop, she focuses on sourcing sustainable, independent brands and women run businesses. Her vision for Cleo + Kin is to create a welcoming and uplifting space that is filled with all the things she love to share with people. The shop will also be rolling out some creative classes and workshops later on this year, lead by Brenna as well as other local makers in the Rochester area.

Rochester By Water is a nonprofit organization that connects the community and visitors to Rochester's historic waterways through authentic, guided boat experiences and educational programs. Founded in 1991, RBW operates the iconic Sam Patch replica packet boat on the Erie Canal in Pittsford and the new modern yacht Riverie in downtown Rochester. Sam Patch features the signature canal experience of passing through a century old lock. Riverie cruises the Genesee River and Erie Canal, and provides a magical view of urban wildlife and the city skyline. Sam Patch and Riverie offer a wide spectrum of entertainment and education options for families, businesses, schools, and organizations. Themed cruises include live music, birding, guest experts, arts & culture, Erie Canal and Rochester history, and environmental science. Snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are available for purchase. Online cruise booking is open now at rochesterbywater.org/cruises. Cruises range from $30 to $50 per adult with discounts for seniors, military/veterans, and students from 4-21 years old. Infants to 3 years old are free. OFC Creations Theatre Center is a professional regional performing arts center proudly based in Rochester, NY since 2005. PRO-SEASON: OFC's Broadway in Brighton Series is a professional line up of musical productions featuring performers from New York City, Los Angeles, and across the country. Many actors have performed on Broadway, on National Tours, and in major motion pictures. This subscription based series includes popular shows that are rarely produced in the region. EDUCATION: OFC's educational programs offers opportunities for students ages 4 to 18 to take the stage through classes in acting, singing and dance. Students can perform in full shows that rehearse afterschool and weekends as well as in OFC's massive summer camp program, ROC Summer Theatre Experience. The staff at OFC is comprised of current theatre professionals focused on creating the next generation of theatre professionals and high caliber productions. OFC has assembled a team of artists and teaching artists with major credits, and continues to grow and expand the team to meet the high demand for performing arts in the Rochester region. OFC Creations Theatre Center: Originally housed in multiple theatres including the Kodak Center and the Lyric Theatre, OFC opened a new, multi-purpose performing arts center in Brighton in July of 2020: OFC Creations Theatre Center. The OFC Creations Theatre Center (3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY 14623) has given the company the opportunity to expand to offer more to the community that it serves. The 260-seat theatre hosts a multitude of events. The re-designed lobby is ideal for community receptions and events. Additional spaces include a multi-use dance studio, private lesson rooms, large rehearsal studio, greenroom/dressing room, and a cafe open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The center is air conditioned, ADA accessible, and has free parking for 750 vehicles. OFC Creations Theatre Center

Good Smoke BBQ was founded in 2006 in a bid to destroy the competition in our first KCBS Professional BBQ Competition. Well we didn't destroy the competition but we did ignite a love affair with barbecue and a need to perfect every aspect of our cooking. We have been lucky to have had many successes on the BBQ circuit these past years and look forward to continuing to feed our customers in the restaurant, through takeout and catering orders. Founded by Rochester natives Brian and Kelly Wemett.

The 12-day ESL Rochester Fringe Festival is one of the nation’s largest fringe festivals and has been recognized by the New York Times as “one of the country’s more prominent multidisciplinary events.” It is also New York State’s largest performing arts festival and the current winner of CITY Magazine’s Best of Rochester Award for Best Arts Event. Nearly a million people have attended more than 5,700 performances and events at the Fringe since its inception in 2012. Remain Present is a collection of original work by American artist Nicholas Roes that considers the traces of gesture as evidence of the artist’s presence. Each work carries traces of its making through movement, texture and the accumulation of material. At a moment when images can be generated, reproduced and circulated with increasing ease, Remain Present returns attention to emphasize painting as a physical encounter between artist and material.
