George Eastman Museum

Open Face at Eastman Museum features sandwiches, soups, salads, sides, and baked goods, including numerous vegan or vegetarian options, such as corn mash, mashed pea, chickpea, and toasted brie. Sandwiches can also be made over field greens as salads. Specialties—including ginger carrots, pickled beets, and baguette chips—are also on the menu. Desserts include Open Face cookie splits and cookie sandwiches, Cheesy Eddie’s carrot cake, Red Fern vegan jam bars, and Royal Café gelato, which has been a longtime favorite of museum visitors.

The Playhouse is a bar, arcade and eatery, complete with vintage arcade games, craft libations and Swillburger, a take on the American burger joint. Exhibition Title: Remain Present

Remain Present is a collection of original work by American artist Nicholas Roes that considers the traces of gesture as evidence of the artist’s presence. Each work carries traces of its making through movement, texture and the accumulation of material. At a moment when images can be generated, reproduced and circulated with increasing ease, Remain Present returns attention to emphasize painting as a physical encounter between artist and material.
