Our next monthly DOWNTOWN JAZZ JAM will be held Sunday, October 4th, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Slow Play Brewing in Rock Hill, SC. Musicians of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join in the fun. The public is invited to enjoy live jazz music for free. Parking is also free. Food and drink are available for purchase. Folks under 21 years old should be with an adult. Friendly dogs are welcome on leash inside and outside. Our October 4th event will raise awareness for the Reginald L Dennis Memorial Scholarship Fund. Reggie was a talented and beloved bass guitar player from Charlotte NC who passed away in 2022. Some musician friends of Reggie's will open the jazz jam, and all musicians are welcome to join in later. Folks are welcome to donate to the scholarship fund if they choose. The fund provides college scholarships for music students.
