Located along the Eau Claire River near Fall Creek, Big Falls County Park is known for its scenic waterfalls, rocky cascades and sandy riverbanks. The 135-acre park extends across both sides of the river, with separate north and south entrances providing parking and access to picnic areas, trails and views of one of the Eau Claire area’s most recognizable natural landmarks.

Visitors should use caution around the river, rocks and waterfall, as water levels and currents can change. Swimming is at your own risk, and all posted beach closures and water-quality advisories should be followed. Dogs are not permitted in Big Falls County Park.

Rural Route Bulbs is a peaceful, family-owned tulip farm tucked into the beautiful countryside of Wisconsin. Guests are welcome to wander the fields, enjoy a quiet stroll, picnic among the blooms, and hand-pick fresh tulips to take home.

Built in historic Randall Park, the museum houses items related to Fall Creek's history including an old-time kitchen, wash house artifacts, and old jail. Open year round by appointment with free admission.

Ojibwa Golf & Bowl in Chippewa Falls is a family-friendly experience for people of all ages. Combine their great golf course with an on-site bowling center and Jimbob's Pizza & Grill and you have endless possibilities for fun. Their easy hop-on golf course and wooded scenery has made Ojibwa a Northwoods favorite. Adults and kids both have a blast on their glow in the dark synthetic lanes and their game area. Beaver Creek Reserve brings hiking, wildlife watching and hands-on environmental education together across 400 acres just outside Eau Claire in Fall Creek, Wisconsin. Nearly nine miles of trails pass through upland woods, river-bottom forests, wetlands and savanna, with Beaver Creek and two small trout streams winding through the property. Start inside the Wise Nature Center, then explore the reserve at your own pace or plan a visit around the seasonal Butterfly House, a nature program or an evening at Hobbs Observatory.

- Nearly nine miles of hiking trails, with individual routes ranging from approximately one-half mile to two miles
- Wise Nature Center with interactive exhibits about Wisconsin plants, animals and habitats
- Seasonal Butterfly House, generally open from early July through Labor Day

Visitors should check in at the Wise Nature Center before heading onto the trails to pay any applicable entrance fees and review current trail conditions. Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the property or trails, although service animals are welcome. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are also prohibited on the trails.

Patrick McCoy is a seasoned singer and songwriter from Menomonie, Wisconsin. Growing up in Minneapolis, he spent late nights tuned into clear-channel AM radio stations like WLAC in Nashville and WLS in Chicago. Those distant airwaves introduced him to the exotic sounds of rhythm & blues, Sun Records rockabilly, and the Chicago blues of legends like Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf.
