NOTION is the brainchild of Bonnie Miguel, a Creative Director/Graphic Designer for over 25 years who is dedicated to the Rochester creative community. With her studio here in Pittsford for seven years, Bonnie thought it was perfect opportunity to provide local makers an outlet to make their amazing creations available to the public in this quaint little shop. Everything is either handmade here in Rochester or is vintage from days gone by. Looking for that unique gift for someone? NOTION has just the perfect thing, from wood and pottery creations to jewelry, a huge card selection and so many other unique items that are regularly being added to each week. Cleo + Kin is a boutique lifestyle shop in the heart of Pittsford. The shop offers a wide selection of goods from women's clothing to home decor and baby gifts. Shop owner, Brenna, is also a maker of minimalist handcrafted jewelry and home fragrances. In addition to the goods she creates for the shop, she focuses on sourcing sustainable, independent brands and women run businesses. Her vision for Cleo + Kin is to create a welcoming and uplifting space that is filled with all the things she love to share with people. The shop will also be rolling out some creative classes and workshops later on this year, lead by Brenna as well as other local makers in the Rochester area.

Rochester By Water is a nonprofit organization that connects the community and visitors to Rochester's historic waterways through authentic, guided boat experiences and educational programs. Founded in 1991, RBW operates the iconic Sam Patch replica packet boat on the Erie Canal in Pittsford and the new modern yacht Riverie in downtown Rochester. Sam Patch features the signature canal experience of passing through a century old lock. Riverie cruises the Genesee River and Erie Canal, and provides a magical view of urban wildlife and the city skyline. Sam Patch and Riverie offer a wide spectrum of entertainment and education options for families, businesses, schools, and organizations. Themed cruises include live music, birding, guest experts, arts & culture, Erie Canal and Rochester history, and environmental science. Snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are available for purchase. Online cruise booking is open now at rochesterbywater.org/cruises. Cruises range from $30 to $50 per adult with discounts for seniors, military/veterans, and students from 4-21 years old. Infants to 3 years old are free. Iron Smoke Distillery

Spend your day at Wickham Farms! We offer farm fresh, fun for families. We are a working farm hosting Rochester's Lavender Festival (July), Sunflower Spectacular Festival (August), and Fall Festival (September/October). We are open for family fun from mid-June through October and have everything you need for a day full of smiles! Visit us in the summer to enjoy our outdoor activities. To name a few activities such as the jumping pillow, giant corn barn, duck races, and 18-hole miniature golf course, we have an activity to please every age and interest. Kids can take a ride on our kiddie train and feed the farm animals. During July enjoy an aromatic stroll in a Lavender field the size of a football field! In August take a trip to the farm for our Sunflower Spectacular. Fall at the farm is the time for apple picking, hayrides, wandering through our corn maze, and trying out our apple cannons.
