GRPM Archives Behind-the-Scenes Tours

The Grand Rapids Public Museum Archives is the Museum’s research center and storage space for items in the Collections that are not on exhibit. Take an exclusive look behind the scenes at more than 250,000 artifacts and specimens that preserve the stories of the history, science, and culture of West Michigan.

Tours will be led by GRPM Curators and Educators and will feature collections like fossils, furniture, clothing, and more.

Directions
The Grand Rapids Public Museum Archives are located at 223 Washington St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, around the corner from the Grand Rapids Public Museum School.

Parking
Please park in the lot at the east end of the facility and walk to the main entrance (halfway down the block) through the rotunda under the large “Grand Rapids Public Museum Archives” sign. There is additional street parking available on Washington Street to the east if needed.

1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
