Aikido Seminar with Melissa Bell Sensei

This is an advanced Aikido seminar focusing on the use of traditional wooden practice weapons. The goal of this seminar is to advance the learning of Aikido for intermediate and advanced students throughout Florida and the United States by providing focused, high-quality instruction from experienced teachers in a setting that supports serious study, technical refinement, and continued personal development. The seminar is intended to deepen participants’ understanding of Aikido principles, including body movement, timing, balance, connection, and the peaceful resolution of conflict. Through intensive practice with students from different dojos and experience levels, participants will have the opportunity to broaden their perspective, strengthen their skills, and build relationships within the larger Aikido community. The seminar also supports the North Florida School of Aikido’s mission by promoting disciplined training, mutual respect, and the continued transmission of Aikido as both a martial art and a constructive system for self-defense, personal growth, and conflict resolution.
