We are an economic generator through sports tourism for Greater Grand Rapids and Kent County in the West Michigan area.

We own and operate an award winning baseball/softball complex; the Meijer Sports Complex [www.MeijerSportsComplex.com](https://www.MeijerSportsComplex.com) featuring eight fields, including a championship field that seats 1,000.

Our signature event, the Meijer State Games of Michigan (Olympic-style sporting event), draws 10,000 athletes through 60+ sports in its Winter and Summer Games.  We work with many of our local sports clubs and organizations to host various regional and national tournaments.

Calling all bourbon lovers! Join us on Thursday, October 15, at 7 pm for an exclusive evening celebrating the rich history and character of wheated bourbon. Enjoy a curated lineup of Weller & Van Winkle pours, thoughtfully paired with a five-course dinner designed to complement each whiskey.

Aged cheddar & smoked gouda börek, frisée salad, cantaloupe gastrique, toasted cantaloupe seeds

We’ll start with the foundation: soft wheat, gentle sweetness, and an approachable proof that showcases the character of wheated bourbon in its purest form.  
  
2nd Course  
Duo of duck, grilled breast, braised duck ravioli, pancetta, dried cherry, cardamom brown butter  
  
Paired with Weller Special Reserve  
Next, we add time. Twelve years in oak transform that same wheated profile into something deeper, richer, and more elegant.  
  
3rd Course  
Harissa-rubbed prime New York strip, bone marrow, grilled escarole, chive potato purée, Negroni vinaigrette  
  
Paired with Weller 12-Year  
A similar age, but a different barrel selection and blending philosophy. This pour offers a taste of the approach that has made Van Winkle one of the most sought-after names in American whiskey.
