Rising Gardens Community Market returns Sunday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 5 p.m. with an afternoon of local shopping, live music, hands-on activities and community fun.

Shop fresh produce, prepared foods, drinks, artisan goods and more from local farmers and makers throughout the afternoon. The market will also feature a community quilting circle, live music from NinaJo and educational demonstrations covering Alabama waterways, healthy bites and herbal sips and the many uses of kudzu.
