Needlepoint 101 Class

Ready to pick up a new hobby and slow things down for an evening? Needlepoint 101 will take place Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Camellia Room, offering a beginner-friendly introduction to the art of needlepoint.

No experience or supplies are needed. The class will walk participants through four beginner stitches and the basics needed to start stitching with confidence. Each participant will receive a starter kit complete with a 2-by-3-inch canvas on 13 mesh, three fiber colors, travel scissors, needle threaders, a CL project bag and beginner technique guidebook.

Come ready to get creative, learn something new and leave with the start of your very own needlepoint piece. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
