During this two-night-only event, the Haunted Fort is fully open—but without the jump scares, monsters, or live actors hiding in the shadows. With the lights turned up and the screams turned off, you'll get a rare behind-the-scenes look at our haunted sets, creepy corridors and immersive scenes. It's the perfect way to enjoy the creativity and detail of the Fort in a calm, controlled environment. Whether you're introducing little ones to the Halloween season or simply prefer your haunts without the heart-pounding surprises, Spookless Night is a fun, family-friendly alternative that still captures the spirit of the Fort—minus the fright.

North Dakota's legendary Halloween attraction happens at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park four weekends in October. The event features different haunted house experiences within the reconstructed historic military buildings that once made up old Fort Abraham Lincoln. Friday, October 2 & Saturday, October 3 feature our Spookless Nights for the younger crowd, with the main event running October 9-10, 16-17, 23-24. October 30 & 31 is the Darkness Unleashed, a unique experience with no lights for the ultimate scare event. There is also a special free event geared toward kids on October 18. Fort Lincoln's Halloween Kids Bash is a great afternoon of fun with carnival-type games for all to enjoy, candy, prizes, and spooky tours of the haunted house.
