Causes
Pregnancy and infant loss touches far more lives than most people realize. One in four pregnancies end in loss. Thousands of families each year experience infant loss. The 10.15 Project exists to help ensure that families navigating loss are supported through acknowledgment, connection, and community. By creating space for remembrance and conversation, runners will work to inspire understanding and remind families across North Dakota that they are surrounded by support.
The twelve runners selected for the 2026 relay represent a diverse group of individuals, each with a personal connection or passion for the mission:
● Rachel Bakken – Essentia Health
● Leslie Brunette – Merck & Co.
● Ty Casey – TrueNorth Steel / North Dakota State University
● Michael Greenwood, MD – Vance Thompson Vision
● Heidi Greenwood – G Personal Training
● Bret Holmstrom – Stryde Supplements
● Brittney Kingsley – West Fargo Public Schools
● Kyle Knutson – Sanford Sports
● Sara Oltvedt – Domestic Engineer
● Rachel Schultz – AE2S
● Danielle Turk-Bly – Ascend Fit Studio / Lotus Lagree / Prairie Grit
● Terry Vandrovec – Sanford Health
Community members are encouraged to get involved by volunteering, donating, or attending events along the relay route. For more information or to follow the journey, visit the1015project.org.
