The SDHSAA All State Chorus and Orchestra, October 29-31, 2026, in the Summit Arena at The Monument in Rapid City. Around 500 of the top high school singers and musicians in South Dakota come together for this one. Details coming soon.

2026 SDHSAA All State Chorus & Orchestra

The Monument, formerly known as the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, is Rapid City's premier full-service convention, exhibition, multi-sport performance complex. With the major expansion of the Summit Arena completed in the fall of 2021, this event center now offers nearly 500,000 square-feet of flexible space right downtown. Whether you are holding a convention or a sporting event, The Monument can cater to many different types of groups.

When it comes to planning a convention, The Monument offers a variety of meeting spaces to meet your attendees needs. Not only will you find spacious exhibit halls and expansive banquet rooms, you'll also find 4,000 free parking spaces and complete support for food services, staging, sound and lighting to make your meeting a success.

As an indoor multi-sport complex, sporting events can thrive at The Monument. This event center offers three multi-purpose arenas - ample seating for fans, a food service and complete staging, sound, and lights.
