At Level Crossing Brewing Company, our terroir, or defining characteristics, encapsulate the overall essence of passion and camaraderie. The red feather in our logo is a long-standing family tradition of always leaving an empty place setting for “Red Feather” at the dinner table. This is to celebrate the tradition of hospitality and inclusion. The empty seat is left open just in case a weary traveler, family member, or friend knocks on the door, so there would be a place for them to join.

Local Food Walking Tours

We started with the notion that gin wasn’t being given the love it deserved. Real gin—a blast of juniper followed by the complex intrigue of all the other botanicals—was being challenged by pretenders. Gin shouldn’t taste like a citrus drink, and it shouldn’t taste like cleaning fluid. We give gin some well deserved attention. Small batches on a small still. Botanicals measured and macerated by hand, distilled, bottled and labeled in our Salt Lake City distillery. Utah, say hello to Jack Rabbit Gin. It’s been a long time coming.

The Christmas Box International works to prevent child abuse and defend children through a culture of universal diversity, inclusion, and love. We partner with local, national, and international groups to improve the quality of life for children, teens, and young adults who are victims of abuse, neglect, trafficking, or are facing homelessness. In 1996, founder and New York Times best-selling author Richard Paul Evans created a safe place for Utah’s children — a Christmas Box House — naming the charity after his first novel, The Christmas Box. What began as a single refuge has grown into a statewide network of emergency shelters, resource rooms, and youth programs dedicated to restoring hope and dignity. Today, The Christmas Box International serves 14,000 children and young adults every year. From offering immediate shelter and comfort to children escaping abuse, to providing essentials through our Resource Rooms, to empowering teens transitioning out of foster care, our work ensures that every young person we serve feels seen, valued, and loved. Through programs like Project Elf, we make the holidays brighter for children who might otherwise go without. Each gift and warm item serves as a reminder that their community believes in them and that they are not forgotten. The Christmas Box International

Nibley Park, which opened in May 1922 after the Nibley family donated the land to Salt Lake City, is the oldest public golf course in Utah. Its central location has made it a popular destination for city dwellers and tourists, offering breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. Fairways and greens are guarded by mature trees, many of which were planted before the early pioneers arrived in Salt Lake City.
