Annual Krampus Ball

You better watch out...Krampus is coming to Richmond. Break out your horns, bells, furs and darkest holiday attire as the annual Richmond Krampus Ball returns Saturday, December 5th for a night of dancing, wicked costumes, dark holiday entertainment and decidedly un-merry mischief.

Hosted at Fallout RVA, Richmond's alternative nightlife destination, and produced by After Dark RVA, the annual Krampus Ball serves as the official After-Party for RVA Krampusnacht, following the earlier Yuletide Monsters Parade through Carytown. Whether you arrive as Krampus themself, a winter demon, sinister Santa, twisted elf or simply dressed for a dark winter celebration, all creatures are welcome.

This wicked night will feature a Best Demon Costume Contest (hosted by Chiara Scuro), Krampus-themed Drink Specials, entertainment by Dollz Entertainment, a featured BC Photography photo station from 9–11:00 p.m., dark vendors, and music from DJ RustRyu & DJ Scareypete.

Even the cocktails get a sinister holiday makeover. Expect Krampus-inspired drink specials including creations like the Krampus Shot, Berry Blast From Hell, Demon Blood, and other seasonal concoctions made especially for the night.

Krampus may punish the naughty, but we're doing some good while we're at it. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to support Toys for Tots. Donors receive raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes through the night's Silent Auction/Prize Raffle, with 2 raffle tickets awarded for approximately every $10 value of toys donated.

The Krampus Ball is a part of Richmond's annual RVA Krampusnacht celebrations. Start the festivities earlier in Carytown with the Krampus Walk (i.e. Yuletide Monsters Parade), then follow the creatures into the night for the official After-Party at Fallout.

The Krampus Ball (21+) is open to the public — a Fallout membership is not required to attend. Fallout members should bring their membership card to receive the discounted member admission price.

The RVA Krampus Ball has sold out annually, so advance tickets are strongly recommended.
