The Great Northwest Challenge is being held at the Angel Of The Winds Arena which is home to the Everett Silvertips, Western Hockey League team. The hockey teams are guaranteed a three-game minimum with pool play. The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals. There will be a Bronze Medal Game and a Championship Game with both games held on the Main Arena ice.

The format is USA Hockey non-checking rules.

Due to popular demand the 10UC team division is sold out. There is room for a 12UC team to register.

RECAP: 2026 Great Northwest Challenge MLK Tournament (12UC & 10UC)

The bright lights of Angel Of The Winds Arena shined down on Everett Youth Hockey Jr. Silvertips player, Joaquin, as he retrieved the puck from center ice and advanced toward the Euguene Jr. Generals goal. Displaying his stickhandling abilities, he meticulously switched the puck from forehand to backhand, attempting to deceive the Oregon goalkeeper which direction he would shoot.
