Voted Utah’s “Best Running Event” and “Best Half Marathon,” the University of Utah Health Salt Lake City Marathon presented by Bank of America returns for its 23rd annual event on April 25, 2026 - where urban meets the mountains. Starting at the Olympic Legacy Bridge, this stunning course offers sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountains while guiding runners through some of Salt Lake City’s most iconic neighborhoods, before finishing in the heart of downtown at Library Square.

After crossing the finish line, athletes celebrate with friends and family at the post-race festival. With five events to choose from - the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and a 1K Kids event - there’s truly "Something for Everyone." Beautiful? Yes. Challenging? Absolutely. A Beautiful Challenge awaits at the Salt Lake City Marathon.
