The River Clay Fine Arts Festival is a vibrant, juried fine arts event held each fall in historic downtown Decatur, Alabama. Artists from across the region and nation gather on the City Hall lawn to showcase and sell original artwork in a wide range of mediums — from ceramics and glass to painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and more. In addition to browsing and buying one-of-a-kind pieces, attendees can enjoy art demonstrations, live music, children’s art activities, a student art exhibit, food trucks, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The festival also features a special preview party, River Clay Rendezvous, giving patrons first access to the art before the public. Admission is affordable, with children 12 & under free with an adult, making it a perfect weekend celebration of creativity and community for all ages
