US Quadball Cup is the pinnacle of the competitive season and the largest quadball event in the world. 20 club teams and 40 collegiate teams will be attending this year, bringing over 1,200 players to the Philadelphia area for two days of competition. The list of attending teams will be available in March 2023.

Quadball™ was founded in 2005 at Middlebury College by Xander Manshel and Alex Benepe. Looking for a variation on their normal Sunday activities, they gathered friends and laid the foundation for a game that has grown in leaps and bounds to become a widely respected, physically intense sport.

Inspired by the sport of Quidditch, Quadball is a mixed-gender contact sport with a unique mix of elements from rugby, dodgeball, and tag. A Quadball team is made up of seven athletes who play with brooms between their legs at all times. While the game can appear chaotic to the casual observer, once familiar with the basic rules, Quadball is an exciting sport to watch and even more exciting to play.
