Hoover 3v3 Basketball Tournament

3 on 3 basketball tournament; minimum of 4 games; teams can consist of up to 4 players; competitive divisions will have officials. All other divisions will have court monitors. RULES: games will be played to 15 points by two's and three's or last 12 minutes. each team has 3 minutes to warm up. The home team will shoot one shot for ball. Grade school and middle school will shoot a free throw. All other divisions will shoot a three pointer. This will not be a 'make it take it' format. Once you score, it will be the other teams ball. If you get a stop on defense, your team must take the ball back beyond the international three point line. You can then attempt to score. Any jump ball situation, the ball always goes to the defensive team. Court monitors will keep the times. In the result of a tie with no time remaining, whichever team did not start the game with the ball will receive ball first in overtime. First team to score wins. In divisions with court monitors, the offensive team calls the fouls. Shooting fouls will result in one free throw that will count for two points if made.
