We are an economic generator through sports tourism for Greater Grand Rapids and Kent County in the West Michigan area.

We own and operate an award winning baseball/softball complex; the Meijer Sports Complex [www.MeijerSportsComplex.com](https://www.MeijerSportsComplex.com) featuring eight fields, including a championship field that seats 1,000.

Our signature event, the Meijer State Games of Michigan (Olympic-style sporting event), draws 10,000 athletes through 60+ sports in its Winter and Summer Games.  We work with many of our local sports clubs and organizations to host various regional and national tournaments.

**Information for Trick or Treaters**

Trick or treat this Halloween in a safe and fun environment at Gilmore Car Museum’s Trunk or Treat! We'll combine cars with good old-fashioned spooky fun. This fun, safe event will run from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. ***Suggested donation, $5 per family.***

Why come to Trunk or Treat?

- Classic car owners, local police, EMS, and firefighters are handing out candy and showing off their vehicles

**How you can help with this event!**

We invite you to help delight small ghouls and goblins at Gilmore Car Museum’s Trunk or Treat event:

1. **BRING YOUR CAR,** decorate your trunk and put on your favorite costume to pass out candy in a safe, local environment. If you would like to participate in passing out candy, Gilmore Car Museum will provide candy but are grateful for candy donations.
2. **DONATE CANDY!** If you would like to donate candy, drop it off to the museum gift shop, Monday – Sunday, 9a – 5p. Please be sure all candy is newly purchased, is in an unopened package. All donated candy will be inspected by Gilmore Car Museum Staff.
3. **SPONSOR** the event! Contact Sue Huggett at (269) 953-9011 or shuggett@gilmorecarmuseum.org to discuss the details.
4. **VOLUNTEER** to hand out candy, direct traffic.
