Join us for a thrilling weekend at the Special Olympics South Dakota State Basketball Tournament!

Taking place on March 28-29, 2026, at Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell High School, LB Williams Elementary, and Mitchell Middle School gymnasiums in Mitchell, SD.

This event promises to be a showcase of incredible talent, determination, and sportsmanship. Watch as athletes from across the state come together to compete at the highest level in this multi-sport spectacle. Also, thank you to the Knights of Columbus of Mitchell for continuing to support the event by hosting the annual Knights of Columbus Special Olympics Basketball Banquet and Dance!

• The banquet will be held at the St. John Paul II School Auditorium and Multi-Purpose Room starting at 5:30 PM on Saturday, March 28.
  • The athletes will receive a FREE spaghetti dinner with bread sticks, refreshments provided by Coca-Cola, and a dilly bar provided by Dairy Queen.
• Following the dinner will be a dance!
