The 2026 Michigan Dodgeball Cup is now a jam-packed weekend for Spartan friends and family! Catch MSU in action on Saturday, February 21st at IM Circle for the main event as they look to defend the cup. GO GREEN 🏆🏆🏆🏆

The Michigan Dodgeball Cup (MDC) is the oldest and most prestigious regular-season event in the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association (NCDA), a stage where Michigan’s five powerhouse programs battle for the state’s crown: Grand Valley State (GVSU), Saginaw Valley State (SVSU), Central Michigan (CMU), Western Michigan (WMU), and host Michigan State University (MSU).

A WEEKEND-LONG DODGEBALL CELEBRATION

The 2026 MDC isn’t just a tournament — it’s a full weekend honoring one of the NCDA’s strongest traditions.

✅ Fri • Feb 20 – MSU Dodgeball Banquet A gathering for all current and former MSU players and their families, kicking off the weekend with camaraderie and celebration.

✅ Sat • Feb 21 – Michigan Dodgeball Cup The main event. Five teams, one court, and one of the most intense days of dodgeball anywhere in the country.

✅ Sun • Feb 22 – Alumni Match Spartans of the past return to the court for a spirited showdown that caps off the MDC weekend.

EVENT LOCATION: IM Circle – Michigan State University

As part of the national NCDA landscape—which features programs such as Ohio State, Kentucky, DePaul, Nebraska, Penn State, and Maryland—the Michigan Dodgeball Cup stands as a centerpiece of the league’s competitive calendar.

MSU, one of the NCDA’s most accomplished programs, enters 2026 with eight Final Four appearances and nine straight National Quarterfinals under its belt.

For over 21 years, the MDC has delivered unforgettable rivalries, dramatic finishes, and championship-level play. Its impact on the national title picture is unmatched: 17 MDC champions have gone on to win the NCDA National Championship. While four of the five competing teams have claimed an MDC title, WMU still hunts for its first, adding extra intrigue each year. GVSU holds the longest streak with six straight titles, while MSU carries a three-year win streak into 2026.

The court—honored as “The House that Bomis Built”—pays tribute to MSU and NCDA founder Aleks Bomis, whose vision helped shape the event into the iconic tradition it is today.

Get ready for a full weekend of tradition, rivalry, and world-class collegiate dodgeball. Five teams enter. One leaves a champion.

Save the date — MDC 2026 is coming.
