The Oro Valley Triathlon and Duathlon Festival is a premier multisport event held annually in Oro Valley, Arizona. The next festival is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Oro Valley Aquatics Center, located at 23 W. Calle Concordia ovtri.com

šŸŠ Swim The swim segment takes place in the Olympic-sized pool at the Oro Valley Aquatics Center, set to long course (50 meters). Participants will navigate a serpentine swim format, which is beginner-friendly and eliminates the need for open water experience ovtri.com

🚓 Bike The bike course is entirely coned off from traffic, providing a safe environment for cyclists. It features dedicated lanes and includes fast downhills along with a few short uphills, offering both excitement and challenge ovtri.com

šŸƒ Run The run course is flat and fast, ideal for achieving personal bests. Duathlon participants will complete one loop before the bike segment and two loops afterward ovtri.com

šŸ… Race Categories The festival offers a variety of race options to accommodate different skill levels:

Intermediate Triathlon: 750m swim, 21.9-mile bike (3 loops), 4.65-mile run (3 loops)

Sprint Triathlon: 350m swim, 14.6-mile bike (2 loops), 3.1-mile run (2 loops)

Sprint Duathlon: 1.55-mile run, 14.6-mile bike, 3.1-mile run

Sprint Aquabike: 350m swim, 14.6-mile bike

Beginner Triathlon: 150m swim, 7.3-mile bike, 1.55-mile run

Relay Options: Available for both triathlon and duathlon events .

Transition Closes: 6:45 AM

Intermediate Triathlon Start: 7:00 AM

Sprint Duathlon Start: Approximately 7:15 AM

Sprint Triathlon Start: Approximately 7:45 AM

Awards Ceremony: Around 10:00 AM .
