TEAMS has opened its bidding process to identify potential host-city partners for TEAMS. The leading conferences for sports-event and esports-event organizers are open for the following years: TEAMS 2030–2035, and EsportsTravel Summit 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2030.
TEAMS is preeminent gathering for organizers of traditional sports events, respectively. TEAMS is the exclusive home to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s SportsLink and NGB Best Practices Seminar.
In 2023, TEAMS experienced exponential growth and generated record-breaking numbers. In its 25th year, TEAMS welcomed the largest number of new event organizers and attendees in its history, attracting more than 1,200 participants and generating an economic impact of more than $11 million to the host destination.
“Our events saw record growth in 2023 and we are looking forward to partnering with destinations that want to be at the forefront of the continued growth of the sports-events industry by hosting these key industry events in the years to come,” said Jason Gewirtz, vice president of the Northstar Meetings Group Sports Division.
Destinations interested in bidding have until February 1, 2024, to submit their bids. Interested cities are encouraged to use the time before that date to ask questions they may have about the bidding process. Cities wishing to receive the bidding information should contact either Jason Gewirtz at jgewirtz@ntmllc.com or Shalise DeMott, Northstar Meetings Group vice president of sales, sdemott@ntmllc.com.
