From May through September, racers from all across Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois will compete in a variety of sprint and endurance track events. Athletes will hit speeds of 35+ mph on the track!
Track bikes are required on Tuesday Nights. These specialized bikes are fixed gear bikes with no brakes; if the back wheel is turning so are the pedals. Licensed riders from age 9 and up are grouped in ability level.
Spectators are welcome! Cheer on your favorite racers from “The Hill” – a prime spot to catch all the action, free of charge. Come feel the rush of adrenaline as athletes from all over the Midwest battle it out under the lights!

Opened in 1927, the Washington Park Velodrome is the oldest operating velodrome in the country – a historic landmark for track cycling! This iconic 333-meter track is also the only bicycle track in the state, making it a treasured venue for cyclists of all levels. Over the decades the track has produced some of the sport’s most celebrated competitors, from National and Collegiate Champions to Olympic medalists.
