2025 Southern Pickleball / PPA Tour Louisiana State Amateur Championship

Southern Pickleball welcomes you to the "2025 Amateur Pickleball State Championship Series" powered by the Carvana PPA Tour! The Series includes a state championship in all 50 states during the 2025 season with medalist qualifying for free and discounted registration to the World Championships to be held in Dallas, Texas.

DIVISIONS: MENS DOUBLES, MENS SINGLES, WOMENS DOUBLES, WOMENS SINGLES, MIXED DOUBLES Skill Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 Age Groups: 8-34, 35-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

FORMAT: 4 MATCH GUARRANTEE FOR ALL TEAMS. Brackets 7 teams or less will play Round Robin followed by medal bracket or medal matches. Brackets of 8 or more teams may be split into pools with pools playing round robin with designated number of teams from pool play advancing to medal matches. Brackets of less than 5 teams may be merged to create playable brackets. TEAMS WILL BE AWARDED MEDALS BASED ON THE BRACKET THEY ORIGINALLY REGISTERED FOR BEFORE BEING MERGED.

COST: $80 REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES 2 EVENTS. Players wishing to play a 3rd event will be charged an additional $40. PickleballTournaments.com also charges a $5 per event non-refundable service fee (not to exceed $10 per player).

The schedule is as follows: Friday, June 27th - Men's and Women's Singles Saturday, June 28th - Men's and Women's Doubles Sunday, June 29th - Mixed Doubles Competition each day will begin as early as 8:00 AM. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.

RATINGS

• DUPR ratings will be used.
• Tournament Director reserves the right to move a player to a higher/lower level at their discretion

You may register and identify your partner or request ""Need partner"". Your partner must register within five days of your registration or the team will be moved to the wait list. When the identified partner registers after the five day grace period, the team will automatically move from the wait list back to the active list if there is a slot available and both teams have paid. NOTE: Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until your partner has registered and all fees have been paid in full.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.
