For 36 years, Area Code Baseball has provided the nation’s best high school baseball players with an opportunity to compete on amateur baseball’s biggest stage – The Area Code Games. With 248 alums on current MLB rosters, the Area Code Games are where many of baseball’s biggest stars earned the opportunity to compete before hearing their name called on Draft Day. 

Through the ID Series, Area Code Baseball is excited to provide Area Code Games eligible athletes with an opportunity to showcase their talent and get on our radar for future invite-only event considerations. 

The Area Code ID Series is open to 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 high school graduates and gives participants every opportunity to put their ability on full display. Event curriculum is data-driven, but attendees will also receive mechanical feedback & instruction throughout the event from our Area Code Baseball staff.

Area Code Baseball ID Series-LA/ORANGE COUNTY

We are excited to announce an Area Code Baseball ID & Development Series event near you! The ID Series is an opportunity to showcase your ability, record updated data, perform and learn from the Area Code Tryout and Games coaching staff and get an early jump for 2023 invite-only event considerations. The Development Series is an opportunity to get valid testing and get into the Area Code system. 

The Area Code ID Series is open to 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 high school graduates & the Development Series is for current 6th, 7th & 8th grade students. Event curriculum is data-driven, but attendees also receive mechanical feedback and instruction throughout the event. 

In addition to serving as an additional layer of Area Code Baseball tryout prospect visibility, benefits of attending an Area Code ID  or Development Series is to get evaluated in both offense and defense, collect data, and for the ID player, to earn an invite to an Area Code Games Tryout.
