Capital City Family BMX is hosting a USA BMX Gold Cup Qualifier and Michigan State Series Qualifier.  The Gold Cup Qualifier is a regional event that will attract riders from Michigan and surrounding states.  The State Qualifier is part of the Michigan state series bringing in riders from around the state chasing their state points.  Each race offers separate points, awards and opportunities to advance in their series.  Gold Cup will take place on Saturday and the State Qualifier will take place on Sunday.

USA BMX is the world’s largest sanctioning body for the sport of bicycle motocross (BMX). United States operations are conducted under the brand USA BMX and Canadian operations are conducted under the brand BMX Canada both of which are operated by the parent organization, the American Bicycle Association (ABA).  USA BMX governs and sanctions more than 11,000 BMX races annually for 320 sanctioned bicycle motocross (BMX) tracks and more than 70,000 members across the United States and Canada.  USA BMX promotes BMX racing on several levels including local, district, state, regional, national and international.
