The Dow Championship was introduced to the LPGA Tour schedule in 2019. 144 of the world's best golfers will tee off again at Midland Country Club in Michigan, June 24-30, 2024. The Dow Championship is played with 72 two-woman teams competing in a 72-hole stroke play format with alternating rounds of foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball).

While the LPGA tournament is at the heart of the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, the event incorporates more than just golf. The whole family is invited to take place in the week-long series of community events, including the Eat Great food festival, a number of youth activities, and opportunities to give back and celebrate the Great Lakes Bay Region.
