155 E Garrison Rd, Boise, ID 83702, USAKnown as "The Toughest Race in the Northwest," the Race to Robie Creek is a legendary Boise tradition that is part grueling half-marathon and part giant mountain party.
This is not your average 13.1-mile run. The course is famous for its "brutal" elevation profile. The first 8.5 miles are a steady, grueling uphill climb from Fort Boise (2,725 ft) to the top of Aldape Summit (4,797 ft). Once you hit the summit, you plunge 4.6 miles down a steep, knee-jarring descent into the Robie Creek drainage.
