This year marks the 27th Annual South Dakota Music Educators Association Middle School All-State Band. 

SDMEA takes great pride in this event as a way to provide an opportunity for students who thrive on challenge and expertise.

This event takes place on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Mitchell High School Performing Arts Center. 

Students arrive for rehearsal on Friday and Saturday with a concluding concert on Saturday afternoon. Students receive instruction from renowned educators.
