The City of Greer has broken ground on a 200,000 square foot facility dedicated to athletics, recreation, and community connection. The City’s new Sports & Events Center will host adult and youth athletic programs such as basketball, volleyball, and wrestling and will have the ability to accommodate pickleball, futsal, and other popular activities. The center will house 18 volleyball/pickleball courts, 9 basketball courts plus a championship arena, an indoor track, a cutting-edge fitness center, corporate event space, and multi-sport simulators.
