Whispering Pines Golf Course

Whispering Pines, an 18-hole championship golf course, is located in the northeast area of Jackson County off of Mississippi 613. The county- operated course is a par-72 public course that plays 6,461 yards from the blue tees. Whispering Pines opened in 1974 and the course has been completely redesigned – the front nine in 2002 and the back nine in 2008.

Whispering Pines is a fun course for beginners and senior golfers, as well as low-handicap players. The course is flat and easy to walk. The front 9 is open and the back 9 is wooded with several water hazards, including an island green on the par-3 17th hole. In addition to a quality golf experience, the clubhouse grill offers hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, sandwiches, french fries and other snacks.
