Vietnam Veterans Park

Vietnam Veterans Park (Formerly North Cabarrus Park) is a 90-acre park located in the southern part of Kannapolis. It opened in 2002 as a joint effort with Cabarrus County, City of Kannapolis, and the Church of God Children’s Home. The park is operated by Cabarrus County.

Features of this serene park include: playgrounds, 4 picnic shelters, picnic sites, volleyball court, 2 basketball courts, free standing bench swings, horseshoe pits, a 9-hole disc golf course, a boardwalk, a 1.2 mile walking trail, bocce courts, a wetlands trail, and a restroom building.
