Our mission is to provide a challenging and enthusiastic environment to develop young hockey players of all ages and skill levels. Yee-haw! Saddle up for the Wild West Shootout, the premier youth ice hockey tournament galloping into Bismarck, ND, from April 10 - 12, 2026! Calling all young hockey sharpshooters to the thrilling Wild West-themed showdown at 1200 N Washington St, where dreams take the ice in a high-stakes battle for glory.

Wild West Shootout Gold Division

The VFW Sports Center has two separate ice rinks and is home to a multitude of recreation activities: hockey, figure skating, public skating, curling and golf. Located near the facility are the Sam McQuade Sr. Softball Complex, Sheila Schafer Junior Links and Tom O’Leary Tennis Courts and Golf Course. The facility and grounds are surrounded by 2.4 miles of recreational trails.
