The 22,000-square-foot venue, which was designed exclusively for use by the Pirate and Lady Pirate tennis program and meets all of the standards set by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, features an acrylic-based durable hard-court surface covering three courts, indirect lighting and movable screens separating each playing surface.

The indoor facility brings an advantage for East Carolina Tennis the school has never experienced, enabling the both programs to conduct matches, practices and individual lessons in comfort despite adverse or inclement weather conditions outside.
