This one-of-a kind sporting venue is the first on the continent to feature both a retractable roof and a retractable playing field. Designed by world-renowned architect Peter Eisenman, the stadium's exterior skin of shimmering metal panels reflects the shifting desert light while 21 vertical glass walled slots incorporated into the building exterior offer fans inside the stadium outstanding views of the desert horizon. 

The stadium is home to the NFL Arizona Cardinals, as well as the annual Fiesta Bowl,  the 2008, 2015, and 2023 Super Bowls. and the 2017 and upcoming 2024 NCAA Men's Final Four Basketball Tournament. National and international soccer games are played here. also. Public tours are available to view this architectural wonder.
