About Max Baer Park

Max Baer Park is an 11.8-acre special use park located on 1310 Murdell Lane. The park is situated between Jane Addams Preschool, Smith Elementary School and Mendenhall Middle School.

The park has seven baseball fields fit for all ages. The fields are divided between LARPD, Granada Little League and Livermore Girls Softball. The park offers barbecue pits, picnic tables and a dog park. Park users include Granada Little League, Livermore Youth Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Pony Baseball, adult softball and LARPD programs.

The sports fields are closed annually from mid-November through mid-February. Permits are not issued to organized sports groups during this time.
