Tucked away behind houses and businesses, this mid-20th-century sculpture garden features 12 original sculptures and over 70 stones engraved with scriptures, poems, and literary texts.

UA&M is the primary agency in Utah that distributes state and federal funds to stimulate and encourage growth in the creative industries. These funds are appropriated directly for arts and museums by both the Utah State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. We are a division of the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement (CCE) within Utah state government.

HSL Restaurant, sister restaurant to Park City’s HANDLE and brought to Salt Lake by Executive Chef Briar Handly, Melissa Gray, and Meagan Nash, is a beauty of a spot that pushes all the right buttons. I had the chance to visit HSL for dinner last Saturday during their soft opening and was invited to a media event last night and the food, cocktails, and atmosphere haven’t strayed far from my mind since we first stepped through the door.

The bar program is being established by seasoned SLC cocktail expert, Scott Gardner. After following his moves around restaurants and bars in the city *[always a little too late]*, I finally got the chance to try his cocktails and they did not disappoint. No one is doing cocktails like Scott’s. The Bourbon + Black Tea + Clarified Milk, Mezcal + Epazote + Palm Sugar, Brandy + Pistachio + Mint cocktails were unbelievable. I could talk for days about his level of booze enthusiasm and geekery and I can’t wait to see what comes next out of HSL’s bar.

Chef Leonardo brings the cooking of Catania and sources our ingredients with the same care. It's not a theme. It's where we're from. How 'Mina began It started in Taormina 'mina takes its name from Taormina, the hillside town on Sicily's coast where Giro Messeri grew up, where doors stay open, meals run long, and a stranger is just a friend you haven't met.
