Tambark Creek Park

Tambark Creek Park is a 40-acre park near the City of Mill Creek that has open fields, woodlands and wetlands with features that include restrooms (closed and winterized mid-March through Mid-April), sports fields, picnic shelters and an off-leash dog area.

The Tambark Creek Community Park site was acquired in 1995-1996 through a joint agreement between the City of Mill Creek and Snohomish County. This partnership was created in order to meet the park needs of the local community by providing a facility that would provide active sports fields as well as other park features. In 2005, funding was allocated for the development of the site through a mitigation agreement with King County for the construction of the Brightwater treatment plant. The park opened on June 28, 2013.
