This park offers year-round recreation opportunities. During the summer, pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts, a batting cage, and baseball, soccer, and softball fields are available for leisure. Come fall, football is in full swing, and there are two field goalposts to practice your kicking.

Central also has two outdoor skating rinks, a scenic pleasure path around the baseball fields, and a spacious, relaxing warming house. A pavilion donated by the Ramsey Lions Club features a concession stand that is also available for rent.
